Gold Cross employs 350 highly trained and certified paramedics, EMT’s, and other medical professionals. With a fleet of 65 specially equipped emergency vehicles and a state-of-the-art communications center, Gold Cross is ready to respond to any emergency or request for medical transport.
Alliances with EMS Agencies
Gold Cross Services meets or exceeds all established standards for emergency response protocols and is fully integrated with local, county, state, and national emergency response agencies to assure a seamless benefit to the community. We maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence to assure quality care and access to emergency services for all citizens of Utah and the Intermountain West.
Highly Trained and Certified EMT’s and Paramedics
Personnel at Gold Cross meet and exceed all state, local, and federal standards for training and licensure. We provide in-house continuing education classes for our employees and auxiliary staff. Real time simulation scenarios are regularly held to check the skill level of employees, and emergency driving classes are mandatory for all field employees.
Commitment to Community
Gold Cross has a long history of giving back to the community with it’s outreach programs to local schools by promoting safety and awareness; education programs; and participation in mock disaster drills with local, county and state emergency response officials.
Gold Cross provides instruction in CPR and first aid through community educational outreach to schools, churches, and community centers in association with the American Heart Association.
Our commitment to the community extends well beyond our role as leaders in medical transportation. Our obligation extends throughout the Intermountain West with contributions to schools, hospitals, and non-profit and charitable foundations. Retired ambulances are often donated to municipalities, educational institutions, and government agencies. Gold Cross regularly contributes staff, vehicles, and resources for stand by service to public, sports, and charitable events.
