ASSISTED TRANSPORTATION

With a fleet of specially equipped non-emergency vehicles and a state-of-the-art communications center, Gold Cross is ready to respond to any request for client transport in a timely and professional manner, while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and safety.

 

Non-Medical Facility-to-Facility Transfer

Available 24 hours a day and weekends to transport special needs clients between health care facilities, rehab centers, skilled-nursing and convalescent facilities, and private homes. Gold Cross staff can meet the anticipated level of care and medical needs of the client.

Medical Appointments

Scheduled or pre-arranged transportation services to doctors offices, rehab appointments, clinic visits, dentists, etc. Gold Cross can provide wheelchairs, stretchers, or other client transportation devices for a safe and appropriate transfer.

Wheel Chair/ Van Assistance/ Para Transit

Door to door individual or shared ride van service which meets the criteria established by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Hydraulic lifts can accommodate most models of wheel chairs and motorized mobility devices.

Long Distance Transport

Designed for patients who need transfer to another facility or to return home anywhere through the Intermountain West. Spouse or family members can travel with the patient complimentary.

Transportation Services and Rates

These fee-based transportation services are offered during regular business hours, with availability 24 hours a day and weekends upon advanced request, by calling 975-4130. Shared transportation with other clients can be arranged.
